AstroBros was one of the first NFT projects on Immutable X, Ethereum’s gas-free layer 2 marketplace. I volunteered as an engineer from October 2021 to January 2022 and built the community’s tooling.

What I built

  • API wrapper. A wrapper around the Immutable X API that sped up community development.
  • Rarity tool. Rarity rankings for Immutable X NFTs, with a React front end and passwordless wallet sign-in. Filter by trait, search by token, and see every AstroBro in rank order.
  • Discord bot. A bot for the Immutable X marketplace.
Two trait filters take 10,000 AstroBros down to 10. Red Moon leaves 481, and Lizards Tail leaves 10. Then one card opens to show its rarity rank and traits.
