Kyle Olmstead

Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Building for the web since 2006

Summary

I'm Kyle Olmstead, a senior full-stack engineer. I've spent the past four years at OffSec, the company behind Kali Linux.

I started in the PSP and iPhone hacking scene. Before I turned 18, I had co-founded OneHitGamer.com, a game-hacking community that grew past 300k registered users, shipped PSP homebrew with 600k+ downloads, and written the SoldierX paper on dumping and patching iPhone game memory.

At OffSec I led the offsec.com rebrand (1M+ monthly page views), owned the SvelteKit checkout on portal.offsec.com, and built the Kali Linux 10 Year competition, which served 1M+ requests on a $5 server.
